WCA question

Hi all. Newbie here.
I had a video assessment this morning for WCA. Couple of questions regarding this..
Firstly I've been down as sick on my UC for sometime however was working. In January I sent my first sick note which was backdated to December 8th. Will my assessment period of this run from date I sent sick note or date on the sick note??
Secondly in terms of waiting the lady didn't say much about how long. I should have asked but by the end of the video call I was in so much pain and in a bit of a panic that I didn't ask.
I'm not holding my breathe at an award but I have so much anxiety surrounding all this that I just wanted to be a little bit prepared.

The waiting period starts from when you provided your first fit note, not the date on it.

If found to have LCWRA then the waiting period is 3 full assessment periods from when you provided that first fit note. It’s then paid from the 4th month with first payment being the end of that month.

You must have also provided fit notes without any gaps until a decision is made. Gaps can affect when it’s paid from.

Waiting times for decisions can take anything up to 12 weeks after the report is returned.

Thank you. I thought it would be that case but I realised today that my sick note was dated almost a month before I actually submitted. New sick note due on Monday so I will ensure I obtain this.

    Appreciate your quick response.
