So after sending in my mandatory reconsideration and them agreeing with the initial decision I went for an appeal
I received a text this morning saying that the PIP will call me today to talk to me about my recent appeal request
3pm came and I received the call, it was my appeal, after talking to the chap over the phone for 30 mins, it was a little like a game show
"You aren't going to get the points you feel you deserve......but youll get these points"
They have now upped both of my living allowance and mobility to enhanced from standard and I'll be getting it back paid to my initial claim back in September

great news @cookiedoe It's silly really as they could just say that in our review process, we have looked at your claim and decided that we will upgrade both the Mobility and Care components to an enhanced rate. Then stop there, instead it's a bit lacking luster instead of making them look like they are looking after you.
Still, I don't care how they wrap it up, Congratulations, on your new award, this goes to BOTH sides for taking the time to review as well.0
