Morning hope somebody can help and advise. So I have a tribunial in April and yesterday the DWP sent me evidence with regards to my monthly salary as I get full pay whilst on the sick. So my question is can the DWP use this information against me at the court tribunial as mh anxiety is now getting the better of me. Thanks for looking

Hi @htudor1 and welcome!
Please try not to panic, PIP has nothing to do with how much you earn, it's not means tested.0 -
I have seen that it's not means tested but the thought of them looking into my wage situation is really getting to me. Would they bring that up at the hearing0
-
They'd honestly have no reason to @htudor1, it doesn't have anything to do with how your disabilities affect each PIP descriptor.0

@Albus_Scope thought that myself but they sent me a copy of my wages/ sick pay which said evidence on for tribunial, well let's hope they don't as I would feel like a criminal0
-
If you'd sent that copy to them, then it'll be in your tribunal package, the DWP basically send everything you sent them. I doubt the tribunal would really look at it.0
-
@Albus_Scope I never sent them they searched my N.I. number and found out that way as to my earnings0

The only thing I can think of is were you working at the time you first applied for PIP and they have sent that as evidence. I wouldn't worry too much about it because even if you were still working, PIP isn't about your ability to work.
Don't take too much notice of the evidence DWP send and concentrate more on the weakness in your evidence.0
