i would like to know whether theres been an error as I received a reduced payment on 5 april, before the increase on the 8th april 2024 for PIP... Was I suppose to receive a letter before its been reduced to show why or does the payment reflect first before receiving the letter explaining the reduction? Many thanks..

Hi @Julie890 I'm afraid we wouldn't be able to tell you if there's an error. Your best bet would be calling the DWP PIP helpline, they'll be able to answer. Have you recently had a review? I doubt they'd reduce your award without speaking to you first.0

Thank you Albus, yes Ive recently had a review and today I see a reduced amount with PIP without having received a letter explaining why. Thank u again for your kind advice.0

NO problem @Julie890 it's what we're here for.
I'm hoping they can let you know what's going on quickly! Will you let us know once you find out please?
