Random little things that made you smile

We have some neighbours who have put some cute figurine character things in their car, on the dashboard. Their car is parked outside our house, and it made me smile, they don't serve any purpose they are just cute and it shows the personality of who did it, just fun and nice
Someone had left a bottle of Jack Daniels in the food bank box in the supermarket today which I liked because everyone still needs something enjoyable, it's not just about surviving!!! Knowing the way things work it will probably just get disposed of and not given to anyone but I thought it was a nice gesture of whoever left it there
Outside the supermarket a young guy opened the passenger door to let his partner in the car before getting in himself. She wasn't disabled or anything and they were only like 20. I thought it was just older people who still did that and I thought it was sweet. They looked African to me so maybe it's part of their culture?
Has anything made you smile today?

thats great examples @66Mustang And @vikingqueen, i had some time out today with my wife, we drove to the beach, it was really blowy, the sand was blowing everywhere, made me smile, just little things, got home and saw a new pic of my grandson, he lives down south and we hardly see him unfortunately, but his mum keeps us updated with photos, so that makes me smile2

Saw a lady walking a pram yesterday, but in the pram were 2 small dogs. That made me smile yesterday.

That reminds me of when I was a little girl pushing my doll's pram, & our local vicar stopped me to look inside. He was rather surprised to see the head & trunk of my toy elephant, Jumbo, peeping out rather than a doll! Yes, I'm a big fan of elephants too (don't tell the penguins ), & have been from a very young age.

Got another photo of my granddaughter today, she's lost her 1st tooth.....and has refused point blank to give it up to the tooth fairy. Even the promise of money hasn't worked. I wouldn't put it past her to save them all then cash in all at once

I think for me, slips of the tongue are things that make me smile. For example, I was speaking to my granddaughter who is 8yo about her uncle Michael and I called him Muncle Michael accidently, and she and I fell about laughing. Then later on I was trying to remember the name of a singer I'm fond of, so that my Alexa device could play one of her songs, and I accidentally called her Lady GraGra, instead of Lady Gaga. My granddaughter fell about laughing and kept bringing it up all evening so we could laugh some more about it. Those sorts of things have us in stitches for some reason! Thinking about laughing with my granddaughter always make me smile.1

It'll sound very cringey, but logging into the community today and seeing everyone chatting away really made me smile.0

Was smile or cry. Stood in a queue today and could see a young woman looking at me.
Imagine my surprise when she came over and said ... "For an old man you'd be very good looking without those scars on your face "
What can you say to that ? "So you don't want my babies" was the first thing that popped out of my mouth
More distraught she called me old. 57 FFS0 -
