Has anyone got it where they are?
Our fence is taking a battering, it needs replacing when we have the money and time, so it keeps getting fixed bodged after every storm
We have a couple of relatives called Kathleen, one of whom is quite an angry person, so quite a lot of jokes going around in our family
I hope you stay safe everyone

Just very windy here @66Mustang was blowing a gale in the night1

Very windy here but no damage so far.
I haven't been able to get this song out of my head all night though.

I think my wheelie bins got knocked over in the night. They often do during storms, there's not really a great sheltered area for me to put them though1

It's calm here now, seems quite strange after the winds
@Jimm_Scope
Just an idea but can you get some rope and tie your wheelie bins to something like a railing?

Could try that, the main issue is we live on a bit of a slope so if they're empty after just being collected it doesn't take much to push them over!1

I hope you stay safe everyonehi @66Mustang theres a largeish hole now in my cats catio, it was either caused by kathleen or theres a stray kitten i look after who likes chilling on the catio roof ,and its possible he coud have fell threw a bit but managed to pull himself out in time to avoid falling to the floor.either way its knackered till i can get it fixed. ive got to make sure to watch my disabled boy doesnt try to make a dash for catdom,his imune system is extremly high which has led to many alergies- hes quite alergic to grass,a lot of flowers and many other things such as the scent of floor cleaner so we have to be careful-thats why my dad built him a big catio so he has his own part of the garden to be all teritorial over.ive got a kathleen in my distant family to,and for some reason theyre very disliked by everyone in the family, my parents have already been making 'karen' type jokes about her and what she has in comon with the storm which is sad as ive never even met her so i dont know if she really is that angry or if they all had some sort of fall out.hi @Ada64 , one of my suport staff was anoyed that we in manchester have always been labeled 'the rainy city' so he looked up an official? (he never told me where he got it off) top 30 list of the rainiest cities in uk based on the amount of rain, and i remember him saying in the first 14 there were 3 places all in wales named as the rainiest. so it might be wet but as a tourist over the years (i even remember the sun centre in rhyl) i have never been put off by the rain, i love going to check out waterfalls,so much unspoilt greenery and beauty, i know its different when your a resident puting up with rain constantly though. manchester came out 15th out of the top 30 so those who call it the wettest havent done there research lol.
