Lying pip assessor

About a month ago, My assigned advocate for my PIP assessment had a phone call. It was from PIP, however, when my advocate asked if this was the assessment the lady on the phone told her no it wasn’t she just wanted for background on my problems/condition. Because of this my advocate didn’t have any proper information or papers infront of her and only gave, like what the woman asked, background information.
The woman assured my advocate multiple times that it wasn’t an assessment + refused to state her name. The day before she had also rang us but we didn’t have the time to talk so we rescheduled for the next day but she was hour late then what were told.
Im just looking for advice, Is outright lying about it being an assessment illegal or in general is there anything we can do about it?

What letter arrived today? If the phone call was a month ago then surely that wasn't an appointment letter telling you that you have an assessment that was a month ago?skzmoo said:Just to mention, we know it was a PIP assessment as our letter arrived today.0
