Hi I’ve just been awarded the lwrca part of uc tbh I never knew it even existed I did call uc but I really didn’t understand what was being said my first sick note was provided on the 13th of September 2023 and I’ve only had my assessment this month (April) and I have no idea what or if anything is owed. I’ve provided for notes my entire time whilst on uc

What date do you usually receive your money each month?
Without knowing the answer to that your first payment will be either Jan or Feb 2024.0 -
Hi poppy im paid on the 18th of each month so next Thursday my pip is due.0

PIP is irrelevant and nothing to do with LCWRA or UC. If the 18th is when you usually receive your UC payment then your waiting period will be Oct to Jan.. LCWRA starts from 12th Jan to 11th Feb and first payment will be 18th Feb.
If the decision has only just been made it maybe too late to include the extra money in this months statement so they will owe you an extra month if this happens.
Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.

sorry poppy im not on pip im on uc and esa. I was told Monday this week of the decision and uc is due on the 17th of each month.0

Do you know roughly how much is owed as the last 6 months or so I’ve got In to quite a lot of debt due to being on benefits as my outgoings are greater than my income I’ve literally been living off £90 a week at most.0

As the decision was Monday then hopefully the element will be included with this months statement but you'll need to check.
As you're claiming New style ESA as well then you will be placed into the Support Group and your payments will increase from the 14th week of your claim to £138.20/week (New April rate) but £129.50/week before the increase. The money that's deducted from your UC for this will also increase.
I'm afraid I can't tell you how much you'll receive exactly because that will depend on the exact figures. Before they can pay what is owed for UC they will need to recalculate your past statements to work out how much you've already received against what you should have received. You will then be paid the difference between the two. Once this is done you'll receive a letter on your journal telling you how much they owe and it will be paid into your bank.
You should also look at claiming PIP, assuming you're not living in Scotland and then it would be ADP. Whether there's any entitlement will depend on how your health conditions affect you. More information in the links. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/Global/Migrated_Documents/adviceguide/pip-9-table-of-activities-descriptors-and-points.pdf
https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/before-claiming/how-much-you-get-and-how-long/
If you do claim and you're award the payments will not affect your UC or ESA.

Thank you so much for your help Poppy, I’ll just have to wait until they populate my statement which will be on the 14th it’s been a really hard period since being on benefits so this will help a lot. I’ve been advised to apply for pip and will do shortly. Thanks again.1
