New claim for PIP

I applied for PIP as a new claim on the 2nd April.
No form has arrived yet in the post- would it be worth calling them next week?
I'm aware it can take 2 weeks, welfare rights won't give me an appointment to help fill it in until I have form + a letter with return deadline on.
Will the deadline be 6 weeks, allowing 2 weeks for form to be received and the 4 weeks to return it?

Sorry that I'm not sure but just wanted to wish you good luck as you help others a lot and deserve some good luck for yourself1

Still no form.
I'll give it until Friday afternoon (my post delivery time varies from day to day) and call them to see what's happening.
So frustrating as I just want to get this process started.

Sorry to hear that @Kimmy87, I have nothing to advise I'm afraid but it must be frustrating especially if it turns out the deadline turns out to be fixed regardless of the time taken for the form to arrive
If you are able, I believe Poppy advises people to ask for an extension, and she does so herself even if she doesn't need it, just for a bit of extra breathing room, I don't think you need to give a reason for the first extension
