Good Evening Everyone
I've received my PIP report today, and very confused 😕 She has given 0 points, for all descriptors. And stated that there Is no change since previous award. She has ticked the box for No Review requested, as significant change unlikely. And also ticked the box for Needs support for future claims, because of mental health. The report itself, Is 4 pages long, very detailed. I haven't had a decision yet, so I realise that it will take some time. Im just very confused as to why, 0 points for each Descriptor. But then state, no review requested , In future ? Please can anyone help me with what this means ? Much Appreciated

You are correct that it's just a recommendation. Mostly they go with it but they have been known to go against it.
No review is recommended because they do not recommend any points are to be scored. The extra support recommendation would suggest a mental health marker for future claims.
When you say the report is 4 pages long, I think that's a typo, I would expect the report to much longer than that. The reports I have at home are about 25+ pages long. Paper based reports (PA3) are usually a little shorter than PA4 reports.
Was your current award given by a Tribunal or from DWP?0 -
Hi Poppy
Thanks for your message
My recent award, was given by dwp. It was due to go to Tribunal, but a week before, they called to offer me an award.
I donr understand how no change In health, can all of a sudden, lead to no award ?
If I still have health issues, then why take away the award ?0 -
Unfortunately it does happen. When you filled out the form, did you give as much relevant information as possible or just write no change and nothing else?
Please remember that this isn't the decision.0 -
Never ever put "No change" in a review form. It needs to be filled in exactly like the first time with detailed information about why you fit relevant descriptors.0

@em444
You can send a letter today by Freepost for the attention of the decision maker talking about- the issues you have with the report, and telling them
- why you think you should have points, and
- where in connection with your current award, and
- anything else which might be helpful or other evidence.
But it gives you the chance to get your side on record sooner. You could as far as to write fresh/detailed answers for the questions on the form as well.
In short, you can send any information you want to the DWP which you think will help, its not too late. But, try to move reasonably quickly as it'll take a week or two for it to be added to your file and a decision could be made at any time.
