Hi all Skip to the bottom of the post if you just want to know how to send our manifesto to your MP!
Firstly, we're asking you to send our manifesto to your current MP. Your MP has the power to influence their party's policies before each party's manifestos are launched. So it's really important that they put disabled people at the top of their agenda.

As many of you may know, the Government must hold a general election by 28 January 2025.
We recently found that 8 in 10 disabled people feel politicians are out of touch with their lives. And that over 6 in 10 disabled people believe political parties will not prioritise the needs of disabled people in their election pledges.
Disabled people’s voices must no longer ignored in the lead up to this election.
Which is why we’ve just launched our manifesto for an equal future.
What's Scope's manifesto?
Our manifesto sets out some of the things disabled people tell us matter most to them. And calls on the next Government to:
- Fix the broken benefits system
- Ensure disabled people who want to work can do so
- Transform attitudes to disability
- Tackle the extra costs of disability
What can I do?
We'll be campaigning around the general election for the rest of 2024, until the election takes place. There'll be lots of opportunities for you to get involved in this campaign, which the online community team and I will endeavour to share with you.Firstly, we're asking you to send our manifesto to your current MP.
