Hello all,
Not sure if this has happened to someone before or if this sounds normal
I had a heath assessment for lcwra 4 weeks ago I am still waiting on the decision
Today I had a message in my journal booking me in for a telephone review next week to discuss my reported health conditions and to make sure they are up to date
Is this normal for u.c or is this part of the decision making?
Thanks in advance
Samantha

If this is a decision maker that wants to speak to you before making their decision then yes they do that sometimes. They may want to ask you some extra questions before they make that decision. I wouldn't say it's normal, it's rare but it does happen.

Update on post****
It turned out to be a quick phonecall just to check my medical conditions had not changed since I last spoke with them.
Still waiting to hear back regarding the lcwra decision
It's been 4 weeks 3 days.0 -
Hopefully a decision will be made soon. Once it has a letter will be uploaded onto your journal.1

Hi all
Just an update to help others!
So since my health assessment for lcwra it has been exactly 5 weeks 3 days
I received a decision today and was awarded lcwra
I did have to keep messaging in the journal for an update though..didn't get much help 🙃
I would advise anyone waiting to call u.c - the lady I spoke to on the phone was so thorough and nice and gave me a breakdown of when the d.m picked up my claim
And how many things left they had to tick off before deciding
So that gave me an insight into timelines etc
I also requested them to chase it up and request it be done sooner..a day later I received the decision in my journal 😊2
