My original claim for pip explained my difficulties with arthritis ( rheumatoid) in both wrists and fingers and both ankles. Some fingers have bone spores and are misshapen.  Also I have cardiac arrhythmia which makes me dizzy.  Plus anxiety of going out anywhere.
I was awarded daily living standard but only a few points less for enhanced and standard mobility.

I did a MR and the result was the same so I have gone to appeal. I have recently had a TIA which has affected my mobility and speech.  They found I have blocked artery in my neck which is a high risk of a stroke and will need a stent. They also discovered I had stenosis. Can I use these as evidence for my appeal? The DR said lots of stress and anxiety can trigger TIA so it's related to my original claim.
The stenosis I not sure?

Thank you

This would be treated as a worsening of condition, which will not be taken into consideration for the Tribunal. They will only look at how your conditions affected you at the time the assessment took place.

Please also be aware about reporting any changes to PIP. By doing this they will send you more forms to fill in and return. You will likely need another assessment because most have them. Any decision made on the changes will overrule your current award, as well as any decision made by the Tribunal. It would mean if the Tribunal awarded you a higher rate, you will only be owed money up until the day before you reported the changes to PIP.

You also need to have had the worsening of condition for at least 3 months and expect it to last at least a further 9 months.

Thank you Poppy.  I will just let it go to Tribunal and see what happens
