Hi,I had my first pip application put in last july,I had a pip assessement in october last year.At that meeting I produced 2 further medical letters to support my claim. The assesor said he would be putting them in the post that same evening.A hour later  from dwp they had received the report. All this happened on a thursday. On the sunday following after that thursday, dwp wrote there letter i was unsuccessful with pip.By that date they had not received that piece of evidence, infact they received it 10 days later. Was dwp in the right to do this, before that further evidence arrived or not?.I have since done a MR and am now just waiting for a tribunal date.
Thankyou

Yes they can because a decision can be made any anytime once the assessment report is returned.

As you’re now at Tribunal stage then you need to concentrate on that and not what’s happened in the past.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
