I am at an appointment this coming Wednesday for a pip review assessment. Could someone let me know if I get more points than I did on my first award if I will get my review backdated to when I sent the review forms back in. Thanks.

If this is a review started by DWP then no, it’s not always backdated to an earlier date. Due to the waiting times for decisions a decision maker will use their own discretion.0

They sent me the forms as my original award was due to run out and then i got a 12 month extension. they have had my review form for 10 months.0

That sounds like a review started by them. There’s no guarantee that any award would be paid from an earlier date. Some have and some haven’t.1
