Hello, just thought I would post my timeline, and just one question…,,
18/1/24 called to apply for pip
19/1/24 txt from DWP we’ve sent your form
7/2/24 txt from DWP we’ve not received your form
13/2/24 txt from DWP thanks for sending form
14/3/24 txt from DWP a health prof is looking at your form
01/04/24 txt from independent assessment services, telephone consultation booked for 15/4/24
15/4/24 Telephone assessment call from independent assessment services (lasted 1 hour)
15/4/24 txt from DWP we’ve received your report
19/4/24 txt from DWP we’ve awarded you pip.
my question, it seems the time between having the assessment call on the 15th and DWP receiving the report back the same day (less than 2 hours later)(I’m not complaining) should I read anything into this, Will I have just been given the lowest award? I know I should just wait for the letter, but haven’t slept much and anxiety is through the roof.

The time it took to return the assessment report is irrelevant to what you've been awarded. Once the report is written there's no need to keep hold of it because the assessment is complete.
You can ring PIP in the morning when they open to ask what the decision was and they will be able to tell you.0 -
Thank you for replying so quickly Poppy. I have read a lot of your advice here, and you are so helpful, I don’t think my anxiety will hold up to calling them to be honest, but thanks so much for your reply.0

That timeline is pretty much identical to mine, except that I didn't get PIP. So, well done with that. The assessor's report went in quickly with me as well; I guess they have to roll out loads as it was filled with errors (grammatically and factually) - I expect there's a list of phrases they can cut and paste somewhere0

Am I reading this correctly… 4 days from the text to decision?! Wow! Congratulations0

Just needs to be more comparionsy, yes I get people do have different cases. But when you read of others going through same scenarios, it's just heartbreaking and worrying but also good to hear some people get sorted0

I had a text this morning saying DWP finally got my report back. They say it could be 8 weeks for a decision, just wondered if anyone got theirs back earlier?0

Mine was 7 weeks1

Wow, fyi, my mums is going to tribunal, awaiting date. We started out pip in august 2023. You’re all so lucky to be awarded so quickly. We are struggling with costs , heavily hoping for good news.0
