Hi I've read in the news that some people from 2016 may have been assessed wrong and if so they may be entitled to back dated money, will they be in touch if your one of those entitled or does the claimant need to get in touch with PIP.

They will contact you. However if the decision was made by a Tribunal they will contact review your claim.This is related to following and planning a journey and social support, which is engaging with others.Whether any of those apply will depend on your circumstances.
