Please also don’t worry because no one had your email address. It would have likely been an email notification that you had a message from someone.0 -
Hi @sheepy I'm so sorry this has happened on your discussion, this is something we actively try to avoid. I really hope this doesn't sour your views of the online community and I hope you managed to get some answers at least.
And can I just take a moment to thank everyone for reporting issues to us and showing concern for your fellow community members, it's very much appreciated by the whole team. If you have any more concerns, please don't hesitate to report them, or contact @Community_Scope so we can all see.1 -
Actually it has put me off a bit I’m not very happy about verbally aggressive people perhaps they should join a different conversation0
-
@Community_Scope please stop this man matassa1 writing and tagging me. I dont want him to message me and say people who lie (as not agreeing with what he say) "will go down the same route" what is that? who is this man? he is aggressive and looking for a fight all over the forum. STOP MESSAGING ME NO MEANS NO! Stop stalking me!0

As for the bonuses you keep saying the assessors get for refusing people, NO they do not!1 -
Wow hat has happened here? Who is that guy plaing the thug? NO MEANS NO! Let her alone!CPO and bodyguard? You look like a strip club bouncer to me and I am sad to say I worked strip clubs, so I know the type. This is the exact shape and model of an abusive man forcing himself. Stop harrasing her! This is not a strip club, its a disability forum! Behave and respect women and everyone else! NO MEANS NO!And bonues? What are you on? Why Scope is allowing this fake news in here?

Perhaps next time I have a concern I should address it elsewhere im still none the wiser and really stressed out over this whole situation
I would hope that if I had a question even if it only seems minor to you that someone could give me some advice without it escalating to world war 30 -
Apologies again @sheepy that was a very very rare occurrence here. I've not seen that happen since I joined the team over six months ago!
Regarding your question, I had replied but it may have been lost in all that kerfuffle.
"I have the same issues with texts. It can be very hit or miss as to if I'll receive them or not. But the DWP often will send written correspondence as well for the important stuff, which is helpful. As said it can be months between texts, but if it's an ongoing concern for you I'd try and flag it up with the DWP again."0 -
@Ramonica @Albus_Scope
What a thread this has been to read!
I do however strongly feel the need to clarify some advice on this forum about recordings and the DWP.Covert recordings of a DWP Assessment are permitted to be used at a Tribunal Hearing.

So you can secretly record a conversation with the DWP or assessor and not tell them about it and later use it against them by submitting it to the tribunal.
You can also do it because of case law. It happened with an employee secretly recording a meeting at work which she later used in a tribunal. A brief summary is that its allowed because she is the individual against the institution. This is a valid argument with the DWP and social security tribunals too.The same is true of a claimant and the DWP.

mfl, thank you, I know how disabling PTSD is and I've not served in the forces. It shows on Keir Starmer's face I think. My nephew was a commando - nobody is ever the same afterwards.
I am upset that this poor guy didn't find the support he needed. There's no fake news about DWP, no scaremongering and there's going to be a lot more distress expressed on this forum. We must face facts. The UC roll out is now underway until the end of tax years 2024/2025.

Actually I agree please get out of my post you are obviously aggressive people who do not want to help me but have your own issues to deal with
this has been an awful experience and you should all take ownership when all I wanted was some simple advice and kindness0 -
Sometimes texts are sent but not always. There's nothing to worry about if you don't receive any so please don't think the worst.
I"m sorry you've had a bad experience of the forum but mostly the majority of people are helpful and friendly. Sadly, trolls do appear on internet forums from time to time.2
