Capability for Work questionnaire

Hi , I am returning my capability for work questioner back this week with the medical evidence I have to support my health conditions. I have given brief explanations how my health conditions affect me in the spaces provided on the form, but there wasn't really enough space to explain what I wanted to say in detail.
Would it be consider going overboard if I enclosed an extra written page of what I want to describe or is it best to keep it brief.
Thanks for any advice

There's never enough of space in the forms. Giving brief information is not enough and you really should go into more detail. Yes, use extra sheets of paper but please make sure you add your name and NI number to everything you send.
Remember the more relevant information you give the more chance you have of a paper based assessment. Though they are rare, they are possible.0 -
Thanks for your great help as usual poppy.
I will write everything down I need to and enclose it.1 -
I have just sent mine. It took me 5 days off the send by date to do it. It stressed me out so much and I put off anything I cant do.
A mental health adviser told me to not to describe too much on paper I can explain in the interview. Im confused now after reading this?

Not only that if an assessment is needed there's not always enough of time to tell them everything and there's not always enough of time to go into as much detail as you would like.1 -
Well mine has just been posted this morning so it will be a nervous wait.
Good luck Hyancinth hope all goes well for yours.0 -

I just hope its not all gone wrong now. Im assuming they will be contacting me for a terrifying interview anyway right?
I dont have people to help me with these things and I last filled one in 2019.
Anyway thanks for good luck, you too.0 -

It lasted about two hours and I was given plenty of opportunity to respond to the Assessors questions.
She did refer to my previous assessment and thankfully I had kept a copy of the form I had submitted at the time.
like you, I was dreading the build up to the assessment but I got my award.
Its always very stressful for all of us and goodness knows why we have yo endure the mental torture in the build up to it.
Its can be so degrading having to go through it, especially if we suffer ongoing or worsening health conditions and constantly having to justify ourselves.

Thank you luvpink. I have little memory of 2019s assessment or where my head was so it is what it is. They shouldnt try and trick me. Maybe I will ask them what car they had or where did they go on june 16 etc lol.
2 hours? That will be way too difficult for me I dont know how you managed.
I think that youve said the feelings perfectly...degrading and justifying. Its very stressful having to talk openly to a sceptical listener, its hard enough to someone you may or are supposed to trust.0 -
Regarding my above WCA form, I sent this back on the 26th April, had a call from the dwp assessment team yesterday and my telephone assessment is booked for this coming Sunday afternoon. I feeling anxious about it but ive been through similar with my pip assessments twice. Has anyone any advice about answering the questions etc thanks
