I am male 77, disabled long-term with spinal injuries. I was in the British Army for 12 years and loved the life. I used to be proud of my appearance and kept clean and wore nice clothes. Now, I don't worry about what I wear and my bungalow is not kept clean as I do not have the willpower or energy to do this. I am currently suffering from severe nausea for 5 days now and just trying to eat and drink herb tea etc. I was an alcoholic but stopped drinking altogether 13 years ago. I have a little Shen Tzu dog Daisy who is 3. She has not had a walk this week due to me being ill.

Hi @denking and welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling so sick recently and you've been lacking willpower. Are you in contact with your GP? I really think it would be worth calling them asap. Do you receive any support from local authorities at all?0
