Can everyone give me some names of Charities?

I am going to be emailing some charities to help  me with some Fundraising for myself

There are sites on which you open a page where you explain your cause and people can give money

I find it a bit undignified, as you have to sell yourself to the public and prove why your cause is more worthy of their money than others, so obviously the popular ones will attract more investment even if they are popular for inappropriate reasons

It's still an option though
