Hi I’m wondering if anyone can help me
I have been handing sick notes onto my journal since 8th of November 2023
On the 24th of march 2024 I was awarded LCWRA
they then said your first LCWRA element payment will show on your next Statement for Assessment Period 2/4/2024 to 1/5/2024.
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I AM DUE ANY BACKDATE PAYMENT
My payments are the 8th and 22nd of every month

Please don't tag me. If I see a question and I can help then I will but I prefer not to be tagged.
There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time. This starts from when you provided your first fit note. It's then paid from the 4th month with first payment being the end of that month. The LCWRA element isn't paid at all during that time.
Based on the information you gave your waiting period will be Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb, Feb/March... LCWRA starts from AP 2nd March to 1st April and first payment would be 8th April. They owe you 1 months LCWRA element.
Money owed will be paid as a separate payment to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.0 -
