Hello,

Not being too political but must congratulate our present rulers for totally ruining this country in 14 years, and running everything into the ground ...

Like many Im very concerned about the possible PIP changes - Im struggling on PIP enhanced rates as it is ..

Looking at the Norwegian system that is mentioned in the Green Paper for PIP changes it has 6 levels these vary between £55 and month to a maximum of £267.00 a month in my estimates. If they bring that in here at those at those rates work out the savings yourself ! Bear in mind Norway is a wealthy country too ...

We need an election now as these "people" (mostly millionaires) in parliament raking it in need for many reasons to be got shut of ...

Working with health conditions even with flexibility is not possible - all they talk is nonsense - sit and pray for an election ..  and hope the Tories lose big time ...

Dont think they will have  time to change PIP before an election but look at the evil in their minds ....

I'm not defending the PIP changes at all but I don't know if it's fair to compare countries, Switzerland was considering paying everyone something like £1,600 a month which sounds a lot till you realise what things cost there

I used to know someone from Norway and some their benefits are actually more generous...Disabled adults get a special pension as well which is based on their average salary from when they used to work ... it's a bit like the furlough scheme we had during Covid ... and even if they have never worked their salary is assumed to be roughly what minimum wage is here in the UK

They also have a great system where if you get unwell you can receive healthcare, more or less for free - it's funded out of taxes and sounds quite a nice scheme but I don't know if it would ever work here in the UK  (sorry for the rubbish sarcasm)
