Hi, my name is Cath1972! Waiting for back pay, should I chase them to find out when I'll get it?

Hi
I have had my PIP renewal phone call saying that they are changing my dialy rate to the higher level and my motorbility is staying as it is.
The guy told me I will get my new rate from my next payment date, ( May).BUT he said that they owe me money from last July. I have had a letter saying this, but it hasn't said when or how much the back pay will be. Its been 11 days since I got the call and 7 days since I got the letter.
Should I chase them or just wait
Thanks

Hi @Cath1972, welcome to the community. I'll pop your post over to our PIP section where members can find it more easily, I just wanted to say hello and welcome first!
If you're worried about it, perhaps you could try ringing the enquiries line again to see if they can give you an idea of what to expect? I hope it comes through soon!1
