hi, I was awarded LCWRA on the 29th Abril 2024. I have been providing fit notes from 6th Dec 2023. Could someone advise when I will receive payment for this and if it would be back dated please.
Kind Regards
Sophie

What date do you usually receive your money each month?
Did you continue to provide fit notes without any gaps until a decision was made?
Without knowing the answer to those questions your first payment is likely to be either April or May.1 -
Hi, I get UC payment on the 16th each month also there were no break in fit note. 😊0

That means your waiting period is Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb, Feb/March.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 10th March to 9th April and first payment will be 16th April. This means they owe you 1 months LCWRA element.
Money owed will be paid as a separate payment and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.1 -
Hi Thank you so much for your help 😁0
