Hi,

What's peoples understanding of this is it everyone on pip regardless of how the illness affects you or is it certain groups of people that they believe can do without PIP payments?

I totally understand how so many people are worried but there’s so many threads here about this.

Nothing is certain yet whether changes will or will not be made. No one knows anything more than what has already been said. People are just assuming things but in reality no one really knows.

Hi @kane1994, I can understand that the news sounds really worrying but we know very little about things at this stage. As Poppy mentioned, everything is currently just speculation. Nobody is immediately at risk and it will likely take a while for the consultations to conclude anything. We are also due a general election soon, and that might mean everything changes again, but we'll be keeping everyone informed as soon as we get any new information :)

No one knows anything more than what was announced last year. Until then everything remains as it is now.

Yes, @woodbine these are proposals. Surely if we get vouchers, then that will render the PIP name meaningless.

How are vouchers promoting independence to disabled people? Your basically being told how much to spend and where you spend. At least cash payments give disabled people financial independence.

I don't think the Tories will win the GE for this to come into action. Fingers crossed.
