Hello, I am looking to get some information for others who might have went through this. I received letters that my pip award would not change due to the social support needs. I had put a MR in, but was denied. Received letter on 23rd April. However I received a phone call on Monday 29th from a case manager who said that she wanted to ask some more questions. That it looked like my claims from 2016-2023 were being looked at for a mobility part? She asked me if my bank details had changed since I was now in receipt of ADP and would it be ok to give my new details and also if I would be ok and not at risk, if I was to receive a lump sum. She said I would receive a letter in 7 days.
However I was aware that backdated money would usually arrive before letter and it’s usually 3 days but we are now on Friday and no sign of any backdated payment.

So I’m now unsure if this is just a common thing to ask about bank details and lump sum and that I have not been awarded anything from this at all.?

The question about bank details can be an indication that a decision may go in your favour but we've had some members here been asked about bank details and then go onto not have a decision in their favour.
I'm afraid it will be impossible for anyone to predict what the decision maybe so you'll need to wait for the letter. Mostly money does go into your bank before you receive the decision letter.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Heya @AlexJ1 and welcome to the community.
From what you've said, that certainly sounds like a positive outcome, but as Poppy has said, we cant say for certain. But I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. Will you let us know?Albus (he/him)
