You've already returned a review form so there's no need to report a COC. PIP isn't awarded based on any diagnosis anyway. I agree with the person you spoke to, any extra evidence you have can just be sent to them but you need to make sure you include a letter telling them what its for and also include your name and NI number on everything you send.0

I’m really worried I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in Dec20 22 and was in hospital. I was too unwell to ring DWP that year and then went into hospital again in Nov 2023 and still am in hospital now. I have rang to change address and have told them in the review that I have schizoaffective disorder just not when I have been diagnosed I’m really worried I will get in trouble for not notifying date. Same with esa they are paying me while I’m in hospital under the diagnosis of bi polar if I do t have the payment I would have hardly any money do you think I should tell them now?I probably will have to do overpayments right and would I still get the benefit if that happen? Sorry for the long email Sasha0

Sorry for the long email SashaIf your ESA includes the severe disability premium then this would also stop because of your PIP unless you are registered blind.0

I've had a text from DWP, about sending me a form for PIP review. What sort of questions are asked on the form ?0
-
The review form will be like this https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/6602b0a5f1d3a0666832ad6d/ar1-pip-award-review-how-your-disability-affects-you.pdf
Please make sure you treat it as a new claim, even if there’s been no changes. Do not just put no change and nothing else. Give as much information as possible. Also include a couple of real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.If you don’t have enough time to fill out the form you can ring PIP to ask for extra time and they will give a further 2 weeks.0 -
Thanks @poppy123456 , much appreciated.0

Lots of people will be worried and I am one of them . Have pip decided that some conditions no longer qualify anymore? I keep seeing things on Google.0

Hi @Strawberry1, I can understand why you might be worried after reading things in the news, but these are just proposals at the moment. Scope have written about the changes here if you'd like to read about it.0
-
Thanks @Rosie_Scope . I will take a look.0

If our circumstances are still exactly the same ( I know now I have to do it has a new claim ) . Can the people who check the form turn someone down. Sorry to be asking again.0

When a decision is made on any review your award could either remain the same, be increased/decreased or even stop completely. No need to be sorry for asking questions, ask as many as you like and I'm sure someone will advise you.

I had a text last Wednesday about the pip review form . It's still not arrived. Do they take a while to arrive ?
0 -
It can be anything up to 2 weeks. When I received mine last year it was about 10 days after the text.

I've filled in my pip review form. Hopefully I can post it tomorrow and then just wait and see . Do they take a long time to get back to people?

The waiting for the answer will worry me alot .

Wow that was very quick, you posted yesterday saying you hadn't yet received it. Please make sure you've treated it as a new claim and put as much relevant information as possible. Don't forget those real world examples which you should also include.
When I fill out these forms it takes me a couple of weeks at least because I take my time and make sure that I have included everything that's relevant. The more information you give the more chance you have of a paper based assessment.
There are extremely long delays for review decisions. I returned my form back in November last year. Since then I've received 2 text messages and the last text was 7th March and heard nothing since then. Some members are still waiting a year after returning the form. For this reason I'd advise you to try really hard to focus on something else and I know how difficult that is. If you don't then it will be a constant worry for you, which isn't going to help.

It says on the forum about medical records. I did send some last time but they were sorted for me at the surgery. They said they wouldn't print them off again. Does anyone know what I might have to do ?

Thank you so much for your feedback @poppy123456 . I know I panic alot it's my nature unfortunately. To be honest I just wanted to get it out they way . Whether me filling it in quickly will go against me I am not sure. I appreciate all the feedback . Your knowledge is reassuring . Thanks . Hoping you get your final feedback soon from them .
