Hello just interested in how over people talk about their health conditions . I am very comfortable and open talking about my But i do know some people are not . i dont talk about my health conditions all the time  but i am very confortable answering questions when asked . when i was asked about one of my health conditions crohn's disease  not everyone knows about it or have heared about it but dont know what it is . what i find with crohn's its a invisble health condition and sometime  people presume you are fine when you are not .

    Hi @Paul79, I also have Crohn's and feel very much the same way you do! 

    I used to not talk about it and hide it, but I haven't for several years now and I feel a lot better about it. I'm really quite open about how it affects me. As well as what I can and cannot do, that way people at least know if there's certain foods I have to avoid.

    It is a little difficult sometimes with an invisible condition, I think it's important to say exactly how it affects you. I think that goes doubly so for Crohn's which only isn't invisible but also quite variable! So people could be seeing you on a good day and be thinking "they don't seem that affected", not realising how badly it can affect you during a flare.

    It.s good to know over people feel the same has me it feel like everything with crohn's is hard to see or people thing is something else which has aways be the case from day one

    I understand what you feel . My son has CFS and looks normal but isn’t . Sometimes no point explaining to people
