Pip Appeal
Hallo , could anyone please help ? Im new to the benefit system and have tried to do it all myself but think i may have mucked up. (only just found this site ). I am waiting for an appeal date for pip , but have recieved calls from dwp which i missed. After a few days i rang dwp back as it was playing on my mind about what they could want and after an hours wait they said they were just courtesey calls . Im afraid that this made me angry as i believe they have basically acussed me of lying on my phone assesment and in their paper bundle it states that they dont need any more information and they would not call me .The persons initials are DM . So without thinking i used the online appeal system and asked wether this was allowed in a court , wether the court was in cahoots with them , was it witness intimidation , etc etc Any help greatly appreciated , Thanks Stuart

Witness intimidation? You are not on trial. It’s a Tribunal and totally different to a court. What happened during the assessment is in the past and you need to forget about it and move on. Concentrating on the assessment report is not going to get you a PIP award. You need to concentrate on the weakness in your evidence and not the strength of theirs.0
