When were you really brave?

I’m interested and want to be inspired by stories, if people are willing to share of course, of when you were really brave??
Please don’t be embarrassed by the things that you were scared of…I honestly think braveness is not the actual things you are scared of but the act of overcoming those things
If someone is not scared of doing a parachute jump, and they do it, then it’s not actually brave…but if someone is scared of something simple like sending an email and they do it, that’s brave!!!!
If it was scary for you, and you did it, then you were brave, and it deserves to be celebrated 👍

This is a tough one @66Mustang nice question!
Off the top of my head, it'd either be applying for this job, or going back to the place where I was attacked. Both seem like small things, but took a lot of mental willpower to do.
And I'm stupidly happy I went for it with both things.

People applying for my first job years ago. I was so nervous for it I couldn't sleep for a week before the interview.0

@Biblioklept
That kind of sums up perfectly the issues I face and I imagine lots of people with autism and anxiety face
Parachute jump, no problem ... being in a plane with people, terrifying
It's funny you say I didn't mention anything, I tried to think, there are LOTS of things that scare me, but I can't think of a time when I've been really brave, I just avoid stuff

I will definitely agree that takes a lot of bravery
I have experienced issues with gender in the past but only minor stuff
Even then, telling people you are "different" is really hard, even when its people you really trust
Actually, for some reason telling random strangers I don't necessarily trust as much was actually easier than telling people who mean a lot to me
