Hi!
My daughter is disabled and I claim DLA middle rate care and lower mobility for her.
This morning I had a message from UC as I claim a small amount (both me and her dad work 16 hours and him 40 hours) saying I need to look for more work. I panicked and looked around to see why, I didn’t realise as someone who is caring for a disabled person I couldn’t claim for the 35 hours (carers element) because I just didn’t think about it, I now have changed that and declared it, as I cannot work more than what I am around her (I have a son but he’s ok) is anyone else in this situation right now?

Hey there @brwalx and welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear about your UC issues, I'm just going to pop your post into the UC category, so more people will be able to find it and hopefully offer some top support. I hope that's ok?0
