Hi,
We have just started a new uc claim. My partner works full time but for the last 2 weeks, he hasn't received wage slips. How would this affect the uc claim and is there a way he can report earnings once he receives them. The company are behind on paying wages.
Thanks

Earnings that have been received before you submitted your claim are irrelevant anyway. UC entitlement is based on earnings received each month.0

The claim started 3rd May. His company is on the verge of becoming insolvent and the last 2 wage slips he hasn't received, he is 1 week behind on pay. Be 2 weeks this week unless he is paid.poppy123456 said:Earnings that have been received before you submitted your claim are irrelevant anyway. Is there a way to show uc that he is employed even though wage slips are not been produced? He has emailed hr for his wage slips but he is of the understanding that the person who does wage slips is on short term working/lay off.0 -
Wage slips are not needed because as woodbine correctly advised, his employer should report his earnings to HMRC and then UC will check what his earnings are through Real Time Information. (RTI)0
