Hi @rew, welcome to the community. I've popped your discussion over into our pain management section, hope that's okay with you!

It sounds like a good idea to go back to the doctors if you're able to. Hopefully they can suggests some other investigations or treatments to help you feel a bit more comfortable. If you're in pain, it's not wasting their time to ask for some help. Hope you can get some relief soon!

Hello @rew If your not seeing any improvement, it sounds like a visit back to your GP may be called for.
Do you have any idea what brought the symptoms on, a recent injury or was it all sudden? I'm not a medical person at all, but do give all your symptoms to your GP including any spasms, cramps or change in sensations or urinary problems.
Sciatica and nerve pain is horrible and not being able to be as active is definitely frustrating.
You're not wasting your GPs time, especially if your seeing no improvement.

Definitely go back to your GP. Keep going until they investigate further. I find if I acknowledge they’re busy and say I appreciate their time they’re sometimes more helpful.
