Hi everyone I'm markmeleden. handing in fit notes since 2018, finally warded LCWRA!
Tuesday 14th last week I had a lcwra assessment fonecall. And I can't believe it 6 days later I've received my answer and they finally agree I'm not fit for work. I've been handing in fit notes since 2018 after my neck operation. I've recieved pip on the lowest level and now the lcwra assessment find out exactly what the pip found out NOT FIT FOR WORK. I was told 2-3 weeks for an answer this has got to be a record.

Hey there @markmeleden and welcome to the community!
Wow, that sounds like quite the marathon they've lead you on, but I'm so glad to hear they've finally awarded you LCWRA, that must be a huge relief?0 -
That’s a very long time to have to wait. Was this your first work capability assessment?
Believe it or not some members have had a decision within a couple of days after their assessment. More often than not when claiming UC the decision is quite quick.
For the avoidance of doubt for your PIP they wouldn’t have found you unfit for work because that’s not what PIP is about. People claim PIP and work.
