DLA for a child, need help on how to claim
hi, someone has said I should consider claiming DLA for my 10 yr who has severe anxiety and I suspect he may have autism, I have asked for a referral from the gp for an autism test, but I’m aware I could be looking at over a yr for this to be done, in the meantime I am going down the parent led CBT route with the help from mind mate, anyhow is there someone I could contact that will help filling in the form, other than citizens advice.

Hi @dougie105
It might be worth checking if there are any benefit advisors in your area. Advice Local has a directory, hopefully you can find someone that can take you through the forms. I'm sure some of our members could offer some advice too if you have any specific questions. Hope you can get it all sorted 😊
