Received text from Independent assessment services
Hello from Independent Assessment Services. We conduct Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions DWP. This is for information purposes only, to let you know that we are managing your PIP assessment. We will look at the available evidence and will contact you with an appointment if we need to have a consultation with you. You can find information about the service we provide at https://www.mypipassessment.co.uk. You do not need to contact us.
what does this mean, i'm a bit worried about it

It means exactly what it says. The health assessment providers have your form and any other evidence you sent. They will look at all of that and then decide if they have enough of information to write the report without an assessment. Most people have them though as paper based assessments are rare.

The text means exactly what it says, "the health assessment providers have your form" It's a standard text they send when they are sent your file from PIP. An assessment is most likely because most have them. Once an appointment becomes available you will be contacted.

I also had this standard text message as part of a recent new PIP claim.
It is totally normal and nothing to worry about.
The next outcomes are:
Contact from them with an appointment for a full assessment.
OR
A phone call as part of a paper based assessment (this is what happened for me).
OR
A text from DWP saying they've recieved your assessment, which means they've done a full paper based assessment.

It will vary from person to person, some hear quite quickly others wait a while. Many factors such an individual assessors workloads etc.
In my case it was 26 days between PIP assessment services acknowledging receipt of my form, to the phone call as part of my paper based assessment.
Yes, I was called out of the blue but the Nurse checked I was able to talk before asking her questions.

I sent in my form.
Had a text from PIP assessment services to say form recieved from DWP.
26 days later I had a random call from Nurse at PIP assessment services. She said I wouldn't need to do a full assessment but had some questions which I answered.
This is known as a paper based assessment, they are rare but do happen. I've no idea why they did one for me.
