Hi all I’m Sharon
I’m nearly 49 with cerebral palsy married with 2 adult children both have autism and one has adhd also. I grew up not to bad was able to walk although I didn’t start until I was 3 and fell over millions of times growing up and then my body took a turn for the worse 10 years ago just couldn’t cope anymore and kept giving out on me so I’ve had 6 corrective surgeries for my legs which went amazingly well and now I’m able to walk very short distances although only on the flat so use my wheelchair when out but my body is definitely fighting back the older I get. Every muscle feels like it’s trying to kill me by going into muscle spasms I now have some nerve damage from my wonky back and have gastroparesis and diabetes to top it all off but even with all this I’m still a happy go lucky person I’ve tried ignoring my cerebral palsy since childhood but now there’s definitely no ignoring it so I’ve decided to embrace it and maybe make friends with people who knows what I’m going through thanks
