Goverment green paper (PIP)
Hi I'm new here.
I'm just wondering if this government green paper is going to happen?
As I'm really worried atm I've been panicking since they announced the green paper in April.
What are the chances it does happen?
And if it does happen what am I going to do?

They are just proposals at the moment. No one knows what may or may not happen.

Hi @jack12345, I know it's easier said than done, but please try not to panic about these at the moment. As Poppy says, they are just proposals and at this stage we're not sure whether any of the proposed changes will happen or not. You're not alone in your worries, lots of members have been upset by what's being proposed.
After the General Election we'll hopefully know a little more about what the government plans to do with benefits and how any changes will affect people. We'll keep everyone posted with any new information and we'll be here to support everyone through whatever happens next 😊
Welcome to the community by the way!
