Migration to UC and Lcwra
Hello, I have migrated to UC from tax credits. I had the disability element of it to and on PIP. I handed in my fit note in April not long after returning my migration form. If I am awarded the lcwra does that then back date to the date I handed in my fit note?

If found to have LCWRA there’s a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note. First payment is then at the end of that month. It’s not paid at all during that period.
If your UC includes Transitional Protection this will erode when other elements increase or you become entitled to other elements so whether you will be better off will depend on how much (if any) TP is included in your claim.
