Pip
I claim Pip And when I signed up on my assessment I stated that I was on the waiting list of being diagnosed for adhd, today I got diagnosed with adhd so I was just wondering if I should ring to make a change of circumstances and if so do I receive a higher payment for my change of circumstances?

Hi @eggoen1 - & welcome to the community. A new diagnosis is not necessarily a change of circumstances. You should look again at the PIP descriptors: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/Global/Migrated_Documents/adviceguide/pip-9-table-of-activities-descriptors-and-points.pdf to see whether you would actually gain sufficient points to change your award. If you put in for a 'change of circumstances,' you'll be sent a fresh PIP claim form, & will have to go through the process again including an assessment, then, as woodbine says, you could lose your award, it might stay the same, or possibly increase. If unsure, seek some local advice before doing so: choosing 'Welfare benefits' from the drop down menu.
