Hi @lawson123, welcome to the community. Can I just ask a few questions to help us find possible answers, was the debt management regarding a DWP debt?
How much, roughly you don't have to be exact, is the debt and how much was your PIP backpay?

If this has left you in a situation where you cannot pay for basic items then I would be contacting them to inform them so. For repayments they can take from benefits owed to you, even with a payment plan.
I'm afraid I don't know too much about this area of how the DWP works, but from what I can gather they can take from PIP backpay but they're unlikely to take from your regular PIP payments going forward.
If this has left you in a bad position I would call up to discuss the issue with them. As while you do have to pay back overpaid benefits, it should not put you in a position where you cannot pay for anything.
