Long Haule Plane Seat

Afternoon All,

I am desperate for some help and advice please. If I wanted to go on a long haul flight I would have to pay for an upgraded seat due to all my health issues which I can’t afford and I feel like I being penalised by the airlines is there anything I can do.
I have a nerve impingement in my neck which means for long haul flights my neck wouldn’t tolerate being in such an upright position plus I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in 4 different areas of my body which need to be supported if in the same position for too long and that’s without all the medication I take which I need to definitely be able to sleep off. I’ve tried the normal and extra legroom seats and I was in agony and I loathe to pay for a once in a lifetime trip only to spend the week in bed. I’ve tried asking BA and they weren’t interested they said there was nothing they could do for me. I not requiring a luxury seat for the experience I just would like to be able to experience destinations that are long haul and have a semi convenient flight like every other person could.

Any Advice would be appreciated

Thanks

If British Airways cannot meet your needs, consider looking into other airlines that may offer better accommodations for passengers with medical requirements. Travel agents can assist in this search by recommending airlines known for their excellent customer service in such situations. They can provide expert advice and guidance, even if you choose not to book through them. Additionally, have you thought about taking a cruise? This alternative could potentially address your travel challenges and offer a more comfortable journey experience.
