PIP Review Complete
Hi,
Is it common for your review to be completed without an assessment?
I have received the text yesterday "your review is complete. You should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks. etc. (its taken 10 months to look at the review) I called the automated PIP line yesterday to check my payment and my next payment remains the same and will be in my account on the designated day.
Just not sure how to take this :( - I will call them on Monday and request the assessors report.
Thanks,

Hello @naila_007, most people have a face-to-face or telephone assessment, but it is possible for them to complete a review without these. It's likely you've had a paper-based assessment, meaning they've used the information you've supplied to make their decision.

Hello @naila_007, yes an assessor would have made the decision and sent the report over to DWP, so you should be able to request that if you'd like to read it.

It may not have been the assessor. It may have been a decision maker that made the decision without sending their file to the health providers. This happened to myself and my daughter back in 2021, no report was written for either of us. As I'm sure you're aware that for reviews files are sent to the decision maker first to see if a decision can be made without sending to the health providers.
