PIP QUERY
So I’ve sent of my pip review forms in March 2024 and still waiting for my review to be dealt with.
A few things had improved but some stayed the same which I wrote down.
I’d say that since then 3 months on more things have improved than when my review forms came through as I’ve been working hard on improving myself and getting better. I am thinking about applying for a pharmacy job in the next 1/2 months which is around the corner from me but I believe that would contradict my daily/mobility needs recordered during my review as Ive improved a lot in the 3 months since my review forms were sent away.
The only thing I’m wondering is if I would have to phone pip and tell them things have improved and then fill out another form or do I wait until my review and tell them then? I just don’t want anything to backfire and have to pay back fortunes.
Thanks

It's good to hear that things have improved for you. Aside from the 3 months backward rule, you must also expect those changes to last at least a further 9 months. Don't forget also about the 50% rule, which means you do not need to be affected all of the days. What counts is at least 50% of the days in a 12 month period.
Ultimately it's your decision and if you think long term that your conditions will continue to improve then yes you should ring to report the changes. Your PIP maybe suspended in this case.

Thank you. So does the expectation of 9 months still stand when filling out review forms? Thanks

No problem. Yes it does.

how long after this will my review likely be? Thanks

There’s no timescales. That’s a standard text message. I received the same one twice, first on 7th March and again on 30th May. Haven’t heard anything since.
