Hello
Hello everyone,
I’m new here. I lost my job due to ill health in 2021 and life has been an ongoing struggle. Just heard that I’ve been awarded standard PIP today after appeal. Just wanted not to feel completely alone coping with the new normal of not working. I was fortunate enough to have worked for 35 years. Life is just different but I still find enjoyment in small things. Learning a lot about myself and those around me.
Hope that you are all getting through the day ok. Nice to meet you.

Welcome to the community @Pickle72! Congratulations on your recent PIP appeal success, the support can make a big difference. 🙂
It's completely natural to feel a bit lost when things change so drastically but it's wonderful to hear that you're finding joy in small things and learning about yourself and others. Remember to be kind to yourself.
Looking forward to hearing more from you and seeing you around the community!
