Catherine, it's evident from discussions on Scope's forums that many of us are feeling anxious about what the future holds. Whether it's concerns regarding changes to PIP or waiting for medical results, 'don't worry' is easier said than done. I'm doing my best to manage what's within my control, but some days are more challenging than others.
Last week, I was consumed with worry about my medical results, fearing various scenarios about my cancer progression. When I finally met with my oncologist, the news wasn't good, but thankfully, it wasn't as bad as I had imagined. This experience has taught me that dwelling on potential problems only amplifies my anxiety, so I'm trying to focus on the present moment.

Then someone'd better ask them, so I have. Message to LP from their site:
'Search' on 'disability', 'welfare' on your site throws up a great many doubtless extremely laudable references to internal policies, treatment of members. The first one is ‘Role Description: CLP Disability Officer’, the second your ‘Disability Confident Scheme’ for prospective employees of the Labour Party. Do you really think the general public cares; could there not be a filter? .
According to the disability charity, Scope, there are 16 million disabled people, which, even if we are not all over 18, is a very large number of Xs on ballot-papers. I think many of us would be interested in something concrete beyond ‘help to get back to work’. Some of us never will be capable of working. Some of us are pensioners. It would be good to have our existence acknowledged.
