God I only caught the debate with politicians rishi sunak such a sinister guy talking national service the lot I can see England being destroyed he's really ramping it up! Our human rights beem taken and going digital the control why aren't we fighting back feels like the darkest cloud we are been kept low down trodden I really only see bad things happen the face of politics has been changed for ever in this country they have broken every rule and shows the law really is an ass whst is our future what is our children's future sunak came in and is doing a mass cull and no one either can't see or Just not believing what's happening you think things are bad now

Hi @Catherine21, It's a really worrying time for lots of people at the moment. Some of the messages in the news and from politicians can be really scary so I can understand why you're feeling so stressed out by it. It's not easy to relax about it when it's everywhere you look. I think messages are particularly strong at the moment in the lead up to the election, so it's really not easy to escape from it.

Is there anything you like doing that might help distract you from how you're feeling? Like watching a favourite TV show or film, or doing a hobby of some kind? I know it doesn't take away what might happen in the future, but it might be worth just giving your brain a little rest from thinking about it for a while 😊

Thankyou Rosie I know I go into blind panic and want constant reassuring which in reality not amenable kept my bubble so small the thought of entering the world is terrorising as it is for everyone I'm sure

Thankyou it's scary when you know you won't make it in the real world I tried for years it broke me I'm scared if that happens I have no skills means I will retreat and lose everything its sad the way this country is I had some hope and with labour not mentioning anything and talking about working people all the time has shattered me trying really hard to dig deep so hard

It's not easy at all @Catherine21, but I hope the community offers you a place to feel heard and get some support from other people who understand what it's like 😊

Hopefully we'll get a better idea of what's next once the general election is over, we'll be keeping an eye out for any new information that surfaces. Try to take a few breaks away from the news to do something you enjoy if you can. It's really important to look after yourself when times feel tough 💜
