Hi, my name is chaar94! Why did the tribunal remove points?
Hi I'm new to all this but just wondering if anyone has been through a similar situation, so basically on my original claim I scored 4 points for moving around and 0 points for planning and following journey so I appealed it and it went to tribunal and they've now had the hearing and awarded me 10 points for planning and following a journey but took the previous 4 points off me for moving around I don't understand this someone please help to advise me what I can do

It would be impossible for me to tell you why this happened because I don't know anything about your case or how your conditions affect you.
Did you either appear in person or have a telephone/video hearing? Did they warn you before removing those points? I know usually if you have an award in place and they are considering removing points that could affect any award you currently have they have to warn you before removing those points. I don't know if this applies when you don't have an award in place.
You need some expert advice here from an agency near you. This link will help you find what's local to you. https://advicelocal.uk/welfare-benefits

Heya @chaar94 and welcome to the community. 😊
As Poppy has said, we'd unable to say why they'd changed your points. They'll usually say in a letter explaining why after a tribunal.0
