Just received this text. my phone assessment had to be canceled due to me not being able to use the phone. I thought they were going to send me a new home assessment.

Yes I believe you are correct.

It's likely that after the appointment was cancelled they did what's known as a paper based assessment.

Just got my text saying a decision has been made and I will receive my letter in two weeks.

Wooohooo to that, but shame they can't just put what level award for both components in the text. everything is a waiting game, I find waiting for things like this very hard.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me this last year especially Poppy. fingers crossed I do not need to dispute my award as I probably wouldn't.

That was a very quick decision. You can ring to ask what the decision was and they will tell you, even though the text advises not to ring.

Yes, it was very quick, not a lot of evidence these days as it's all very old all consultants etc sign me off as I can rarely get out to see them. . Cant ring them as can't use the phone.

Will let you know what the decision is. 😱

I just nearly passed out I'm not owed anything so would this mean I got a higher award and this is backpay? I can't even breathe right now

Would this mean I have enhanced mobility as already get enhanced care This would change my life and allow me to get my car sorted out and money in the bank for running repairs.

I am so overwhelmed right now.

Your NI number is visible in that screenshot. You can't edit your own comment so I have alerted a member of the scope team so they will sort that when they start work this morning.

They've awarded it from an earlier time, which does happen sometimes. It maybe Enhanced mobility but please wait for the letter and it will tell you exactly what your award is and for how long.

Thank you, Poppy, I will wait for the letter, I've calmed down a bit ( 🤣) was just such a shock seeing that in my account and what it could indicate. My pip isn't due for a few weeks, so that isn't included in that amount.

Thank you re the NI. Also for all your help in keeping us poor souls sane throughout our stressful times. Your practical advice helps many of us, ❤️

Heya @Kizzie58 things are looking good, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you! Just to let you know, I've deleted your screenshot so we can keep your details safe. I hope that's ok? 😁

Enhanced for both for at least 10 years!

What a relief no more stress

Also, says I have free road tax from March 23.. will that automatically be refunded after I take my info to the PO to be reclassed?

Thank you for all your help.

That's great news. For the road tax you will need to take all your documents to your local post office, including the Certificate Of entitlement, which should have been included in your decision letter. More information here. https://www.gov.uk/get-vehicle-tax-exemption-disability

Hi again Poppy, I changed my cart over at the PO and asked if I would get my tax refunded for the last car as well, as this one is fairly new ( to me) he said only one car. The letter says from March 23 so is it true I can only get my latest tax refunded? That's the loss of a whole year of road tax.

You should be able to have a refund for your previous car because you're not actually taxing 2 vehicles at the same time. However, I'm not entirely sure how you would go about doing that. I've always had Motability vehicles since I've had Enhanced mobility. Hopefully others will be able to advise on this.
